Angel Path Residence // Bergen County, NJ

Pictured here in our latest snow, the angel staircase railing was commissioned by clients to create a welcoming entry to their home. This is a minimal and playful design allowing the railing to become a feature in its own right. The angel motif stands on either side of the stairwell to create three dimensional piece. The project itself was made more demanding by the fact we were unable to fix the ironwork into the lead parapet. Instead we relied upon a series of elegant outriggers that sweep up to the railing and ensure a rigid structure.
