Inspired by New Mexico
As an artist whose heart will always be rooted in New Mexico, I am thrilled to present my latest pattern—"Inspired by New Mexico" Having had the honor of living in this captivating state, its colors, symbols, and landscapes have become an integral part of my artistic identity. This pattern serves as a heartfelt homage to the diverse and vibrant tapestry of New Mexican culture that has left an indelible mark on my heart.
Design Inspiration:
At the heart of this pattern lies the essence of New Mexico—a land of breathtaking beauty, ancient traditions, and boundless inspiration. Drawing upon the state's iconic turquoise hue, synonymous with the sky and landscapes of the Southwest, I sought to capture the essence of New Mexico's vibrant spirit. The nod to the Zia—an ancient emblem representing the four cardinal directions, seasons of the year, and the four phases of the day—pays homage to the rich cultural heritage of the state and its peoples.
